From the Principal's Desk

I extend a warm welcome to you all. I feel proud to be the Principal of this reputed institute and find it a privilege to work with our staff and students to transform this college into one of the most preferred pharmacy colleges in the country.

We are working relentlessly to live up to our motto ‘Education for Wholeness'. ADD-ON and Career Oriented Courses are conducted to update the skills of the students. The Government of Karnataka and RGUHS, Bengaluru, AICTE and PCI, New Delhi, have approved our PhD and PG courses in M. Pharm., Pharm. D, Pharm. D. (PB) and UG Courses B. Pharm. Our Diploma Course D. Pharm. is approved by the Board of Examining Authority, Bengaluru. In July 2018, we received accreditation from NAAC with ‘A++’ Grade. All these achievements and features should make us one of the best pharmacy colleges to choose from in the state and the country.

We have renowned educationalists, entrepreneurs, and academicians on the panel of our Governing Council. We always cherish the advice of the Governing Council and make every effort to follow the advice given.

It is noteworthy that our college has been successful in staying at the top among the institutions of the North Karnataka region. We have well-equipped facilities, top-class faculty, spacious classrooms and well-equipped laboratories to attract students from all over the country and abroad and give them the best education. BLDEA plans provide the best possible curriculum and further improve the quality of education as exemplified through its ideals.

The college follows a healthy practice of conducting state national level seminars and workshops. These seminars and workshops are organized with sponsorship from RGUHS, ICMR and APTI.

It gives me immense pride and pleasure to inform you that the management of BLDEA has given me a free hand and all the needed support to carry out the activities necessary for taking our institute to the next level. I am grateful to Dr. M. B. Patil, the President & Chairman, Shri G.K. Patil, Gen. Secretary & Treasurer of BLDE Association, the Governing Council and Administrators, for extending their support to every meaningful and productive endeavour of the institute.
