The department has initiated research activities in pharmaceutical sciences, which include drug delivery systems such as tablets, capsules, liquid orals, microcapsules, nanoparticles, transdermal systems, etc.

To produce competent postgraduates who have the ability and conviction to provide patient-centred care guided by respect for the infinite worth of individuals; and dedicated to improving communities by advancing pharmacy education, practice, service and scholarship

To come up with product formulations to meet the industry/market requirements without compromising on the product quality.

We continue stay in tune with the times, and our program focuses on expanding the scientific avenues for improving the delivery of drugs and therapeutic agents.

We offer a training environment that includes the latest formulation laboratory instrumentation and technologies supervised by experienced teachers and dedicated staff.

Many research articles are published in reputed journals every year. The department undertakes research projects from the government as well as private funding agencies.
